David Margulies – brings his experience as an award-winning investigative reporter and network journalist to his work as strategic counselor to many of the country’s most successful individuals and organizations. In addition to obtaining positive media coverage for clients, he has helped clients successfully navigate some of their most difficult business crisis situations and in many cases has been able to show his clients how to avoid negative publicity. He is frequently interviewed on issues involving litigation, crisis communications and the media in major publications and on national television.

Shane Sumrow – a former broadcast journalist Shane has a strong track record of helping his clients achieve positive publicity that increases sales, strengthens brands and meets marketing objectives. His experience includes work major corporations and professional service firms. Shane also serves as an effective, credible spokesperson for some of our clients. In the crisis management field he has helped clients sustain their ongoing business during times of crisis.

Elizabeth Watters – has a proven track record in securing high-level national and local media attention for a variety of clients in fields as diverse as higher education, health care, aviation, and the legal and baking industries. Elizabeth's work on the client side at a major national airline as well as her work for a leading advertising and public relations firm provide her with a unique perspective on how to provide the best and most cost-effective client service.

Ross Blackstone – draws on his experience as an award winning broadcast journalist and public relations professional to help clients craft winning communications strategies that achieve their business and personal objectives. His work includes generating positive news coverage and handling crisis communications for a wide range of clients in the business, public and non-profit sectors. He is experienced with media relations, collateral development, promotions, direct marketing, branding and event planning.

Jamie Hawkes – brings to the Margulies team a wide range of experience including extensive work with non-profit and government agencies. Most recently, she handled public relations for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and media relations for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Parole Division. Her strengths include developing innovative strategies for obtaining the maximum media coverage for her clients, creative writing skills and well-established media contacts. She is also recognized for her successful events publicity projects.

Pidge Parrino – helps coordinate key aspects of the MCG team's media relations and crisis communications programs. She helps make sure the complex, multifaceted strategies are implemented that help our client's successfully prevent or deal with crisis situations, often under extreme deadline pressure.
