David Margulies is a broadcasting veteran that has worked for both national and local news media. With experience comes perspective and the ability to understand both sides of the issues. As a member of the media, David saw all too often how companies would come under scrutiny that had done nothing wrong. He also witnessed how these companies looked guilty because they didn’t handle the media scrutiny properly. “Had the companies had a well thought out plan of action, they could have avoided the negative public scrutiny brought on by the media attention,” David says, “Guilt really was more a matter of perception than reality. If these organizations had done nothing wrong, I knew that they could have more easily said they were innocent with a skilled plan of action. I’m now in a position that I can show companies how to do this.”
For over 20 years now, David Margulies has been training and speaking across the country on media crisis prevention. “I travel the country demonstrating how easy it is to put together a strategic plan which could end up saving your company’s reputation,” says David.
David’s also spent that last two decades delivering speeches and workshops on several other issues that companies have to deal with on a regular basis. He says, “I understand how exactly all these issues are connected and relate to one another. It’s very exciting to me when I can look across the room and see that CEO’s, managers and employees are all on the same page. I see that they all get what I’m explaining. That’s very exciting to me.”
